The classroom library letter that parents are requested to sign outlining our plan for outside reading is also listed below. Reading is paramount in my classroom and students are required to read a book of their choosing and complete a project, considered a  grade. Though the outside reading books may be student selected, students are required to choose books from a variety of genres throughout the school year. There is a large selection of various genres in my classroom library, but students may also choose a book from the school or public library.

 

You will also find a copy of the Challenge Sheet that students will fill out after reading their outside reading books. Students will be required to keep up with their Challenge Sheet.
